Prof. Fabio Babiloni

FDr. Fabio Babiloni was graduated in electronic engineering and holds a PhD in Computational Engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology. He is Professor of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Rome, Italy. He teaches “Human physiology” at the Medical School and “Clinical application of bioengineering” to the Biotechnology faculty of the same University. Professor Babiloni is author of 240 papers on bioengineering and neurophysiological topics on international peer-reviewed scientific journals, and more than 250 contributions to conferences and books chapters. He wrote 4 books on EEG signal processing. His total impact factor is 460 and his H-index is 61. Currents interests are in the field of estimation of cortical connectivity from EEG data and the area of brain computer interfaces. Professor Babiloni is currently grant reviewer for the National Science Foundation (NSF) USA, the European Union through the FP6, FP7 and Horizon2020 research programs and different european agencies (France, Germany, Finland, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Cyprus). He is an Associate Editor of 4 scientific Journals, “IEEE Trans. On Neural System and Rehabilitation Engineering”, “International Journal of Bioelectromagnetism”and “IEEE Reviews on Biomedical Engineering”. Prof. Babiloni was a former president (2007-2009) of the “International Society of Bioelectromagnetism” and (2009-2011) of the “International Society of Non Invasive Source Functional Localization”. Since 1987 prof. Babiloni is a regular reviewer of IEEE-TMBE and then of IEEE-TNSRE journals. Since 2007 is IEEE-EMBS Conference Editor and from 2011-2016 was Chair of the IEEE Technical Committee of Biomedical Signal Processing. Prof. Babiloni was Chair of the European COST Action "Neuromath" with the participation of 25 european countries during the years 20072011.

Prof. Mobyen Uddin Ahmed

AMobyen Uddin Ahmed was graduated in Computer Engineering from Dalarna University, Sweden in 2005. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from School of Innovation, Design and Engineering, Mälardalen University (MDH), Sweden in 2011. He also completed 2 postdoctoral studies in Computer Science 1) Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems at School of Science and Technology, Örebro University, Sweden 2) Embedded Sensor Systems for Health at MDH. He is currently working as a senior researcher at MDH. He teaches “Artificial Intelligence (AI)”, ‘’Machine learning (ML)”, “Decision Support Systems (DSS)” and other basic and advance level courses in computer since at MDH. Mobyen is author about 90 papers on applied AI, ML, and DSS in bio-medical engineering topics in international peer-reviewed scientific journals, conferences, workshops and books chapters. His total citations are 840 and his H-index is 13. His research focuses on developing intelligent systems in medical applications. Mobyen is trying to invent personalized and adaptive methods, techniques to develop a computer based systems in medical applications. His research areas are signal/image processing, information fusion, case-based reasoning, datamining, fuzzy logic, diagnosis, treatment and knowledge/experience sharing. His currents interests are in the field of data analytics mainly machine learning in big data. Mobyen also achieved commissions of trust and scientific services: 1) Local Organiser of ICCBR2018; General Chair of HealthyIoT2017 and HealthyIoT2016; Workshop Organiser and Program Chair of ESS-H IoT 2015; Co-Local Organiser and Co-Proceedings Editor of pHealth2015. He is a reviewer for grant proposal for the National Science Center, Poland and Medical Research Council, UK. He is involved in regular conference PC member and reviewer of papers for high ranked journals.
